The way we were: a ladies’ evening for more than 400 guests in 1970s when the lodge had 200 members.  The membership fee or subscription was £8 a year. Meetings were on a Saturday afternoon in either the Egyptian or Grecian lodge at the Abercorn Rooms with two workings and a break for refreshment. In the evening the lodge dined in the Cambridge room finishing with the Tyler’s toast at 9pm. Photo from Old Masonians’ Association web page courtesy of Bob Oakley
